Stephen’s practice focuses on corporate and transactional matters, including private securities offerings, venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions and corporate formation and governance. He has represented emerging fund managers in hedge, private equity and venture fund formations and start-up businesses in various company formations and corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Stephen was an Of-Counsel Associate for a boutique investment management firm in Austin, TX where his practice focused on the representation of investment managers and private funds (including hedge, private equity, real estate and venture capital funds) in connection with their formation, launch and ongoing operation needs.
Prior to attending law school, Stephen spent five years working in banking and real estate finance with Wells Fargo Private Bank and the Wentwood Capital Advisors, a real estate investment management firm.
